Who we are

Clarigram is operated by Solo Ventures SRL, Romania, which is responsible for your data. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].

Before we open: the waiting list

Accounts aren't open yet. If you reserve a price or ask to be told when we open, we keep your email address, which list or plan you chose, and when you signed up. We use it only to send you one confirmation now and one email when we open. We keep it because you asked us to, and you can withdraw that at any time.

How long we keep it: until we open, and for 6 months after the email telling you we have. If you haven't created an account by then, we delete your address. If we haven't opened within 2 years of your signup, we delete it anyway. A reserved price lasts as long as your address is on the list.

Text you type into the box on our pages stays in your browser tab until you close it. It isn't sent to us.

Who handles your data for us

• Supabase stores the waiting list, in the EU.
• Resend sends our emails.
• PostHog, hosted in the EU, counts visits (see Analytics below).
• Our hosting provider serves the website.

They process data only on our instructions. Where a provider handles data outside the EU, the transfer is covered by the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Analytics

We use PostHog to count page views and clicks, such as quiz answers and which plans people look at. It runs without cookies, we don't record sessions, and it never receives the text you type or your email address.

Once accounts open

When you check a text, it is sent to our checking service, analysed, and discarded. We don't store it, and we don't use it to train models. With an account, we keep:

• Your email address, to sign you in.
• The type of each mistake found (for example "prepositions of time"), to build your error profile and practice plan. Never the sentence it came from.
• Your exercise answers, so your practice can adapt.
• With your consent, your first language, to tailor explanations.

With your consent, we also keep anonymised counts of error types together with first language, to improve lessons. These can't be linked back to you or your text.

We email you only about your account and your practice. If you stop opening the app for a few weeks, we ask once whether you still want our emails, then stop.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and to stop any use based on your consent, by writing to [email protected]. We reply within a month. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
